How to Determine Outlook Version?

Let’s find out your Outlook version!

In MS Outlook 2013 or later, follow the steps shown below: 

Step 1: Launch Microsoft Outlook 2013 on your system. Click File tab at the top side.

Step 2: Click Office Account in the list.

Step 3: Now click About Outlook in the left pane.

Step 4: In the About Microsoft Outlook window, you can check Microsoft Outlook version, either 32-bit or 64-bit.

In MS Outlook 2010, follow the steps shown below: 

Step 1: Launch Microsoft Outlook 2010 on your system.

Step 2: Now click File tab > Help.

On the left side, you can find information About Microsoft Outlook. Just below this, you can check your Outlook version information, either 32-bit or 64-bit.

Important Notes:

  • Microsoft Outlook 2007 or any later version doesn’t have 64-bit version. It only comes in 32-bit version.
  • Microsoft highly recommends to use 32-bit version of its Office suite unless you are having some specific needs which require the 64-bit version.
