Setting up Yahoo mail in MS Outlook is quite easy if you are following the procedure mention in this blog. Step 1: Login to Your Yahoo Account.
Step 2: In the top-right corner, click on the profile name and select Account Info.
Step 3: Now, click on Account Security.
Step 4: Turn on the toggle to allow apps that use less secure sign in.
Step 5: This will allow Outlook to login to your Yahoo Mail account.
Step 1:Launch MS Outlook and click on the File tab.
Step 2: Now select Info > Add Account.
Step 3: Enter the Yahoo profile address and click on the Connect
Step 4: Now, provide the password and hit Connect.
The Yahoo Mail account is now connected successfully.
Step 1:Open MS Outlook and Navigate to File > Info > Add Account.
Step 2: Select Manual setup or additional server types option and click on the Next.
Step 3: Now, select POP or IMAP and click on the Next.
Step 4: Now, add the account and Yahoo mail server information as follows.
Step 5: For User Information, enter the first and last name.
Step 6: For Server Information, give Account Type as IMAP and Incoming mail server as imap.mail.yahoo.com and Outgoing mail server (SMTP) as smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Step 7: On the Login Information, mention the login credentials of Yahoo profile.
Step 8: Then, click More Settings and select the Outgoing Server tab.
Step 9: Check the option to My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
Step 10: In the same settings, open the Advanced tab and mention the following settings. Then click OK.
Step 11: Then, click on the Ok, a configuration process will start.
Step 12: After completion of the process, a pop-up will be shown. Then click on Close.
Step 13: Now, after the whole configuration process, click on the Finish button.
Step 14: All the Yahoo emails will get synced to the Outlook email client.
